Local Lead: Imam Husein

1. Project Location
The initiative is situated in the heart of the Papua New Guinea interior, focusing on the Mualaf community in the Highlands.
Region: Highlands
Province: Simbu
District / Town: Kundiawa
Address: P.O Box 192 Kundiawa, Simbu Province

2. Executive Summary
This project is a dedicated Infaq Initiative by MyGuide Malaysia to support the New Muslim (Mualaf) community in the Simbu Province. By transforming local land into a productive vegetable garden, we are providing a foundation for spiritual growth through physical self-sufficiency and communal labor.

3. Project Goals
Livelihood Support: Establishing a consistent food supply for Mualaf families.
Community Integration: Using the garden as a hub for teamwork and brotherhood.
Sustainable Development: Moving beyond one-off aid toward long-term farming solutions.

4. Agricultural Focus
We are cultivating four primary crops selected for their nutritional value and suitability for the Highlands climate:
Potato & Onion: Durable staples essential for long-term storage and daily meals.
Broccoli & Cabbage: High-yield, nutrient-dense greens to improve community health.

5. Funding Requirements
Total Funding Needed: RM 6,000
This budget covers all essential startup and maintenance costs:
Land Preparation: Labor for clearing, tilling, and securing the plot in Kundiawa.
Seed Supply: Procurement of high-quality Broccoli, Potato, Onion, and Cabbage seeds.
Tools & Hardware: Necessary equipment including shovels, hoes, and machetes.
Soil Nutrition: Organic fertilizers and sustainable pest management.
Management: Logistics and coordination overseen by Mazli Wan Othman and Imam Husein.

6. Management Team
MyGuide Malaysia: Strategic oversight and fundraising lead.
Mazli Wan Othman (Country Coordinator): Project monitoring, reporting, and financial transparency.
Imam Husein (Local Lead): On-ground execution and daily community mobilization.

7. Conclusion
Your contribution to this Infaq project is a direct investment in the resilience of the Ummah in the Papua New Guinea Highlands. Under the guidance of Mazli Wan Othman and the local leadership of Imam Husein, we ensure every Ringgit planted results in a harvest of hope for our new brothers and sisters.

"The best of people are those that bring most benefit to the rest of mankind." - Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)

Let's support this community project. Every Ringgit you give plants a seed of hope.
